Although a reliably configured firewall does form the first line of defence, it is becoming clear that a layered approach is vital to cope with todays mobile battlefront.

Ixis IT primarily use Watchguard and Cisco firewalls for their flexibility, stability and granularity. We utilise a range of the services available, from access control lists and proxy services through to authentication and remote user VPN.

We have worked with simple SOHO setups through to larger setups utilising branch office/mobile VPN and bespoke DMZ configurations.
