The Wellbeing Project Discussion Board

The Wellbeing Project is an already established off-line community for mental health & wellbeing consultants. Ixis provided the technology to establish an online community presence.

A discussion forum developed in PHP was integrated in to the clients existing static HTML site developed by Brava Design.

Taking the existing Wellbeing Project site design, the forum was established to give the same look and feel for users whilst keeping the interface clean and simple to use without the need for too many options which can bog-down causal web users.

It was decided against using an off the shelf forum package such as phpBB due to the high frequency of updates required to maintain security of the site and the host server.
