The European Cookie Issue

The EU Privacy Directive was announced in May 2011 to much groans and disagreement. In 2012 we see the rule being enforced from May 26th - but are you prepared yet?

The UK government has updated the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations in response to the EU Privacy Directive but many UK websites have probably forgotten, or chosen to ignore, the upcoming changes with a risk of being fined up to £500,000 for a serious breach of the law.

To Drupalcon or not to Drupalcon?

With all this talk about Drupalcon Denver next week, its got me thinking about my first experience of a Drupalcon when I went to London last year. Officially, August 23rd 2011 in London was my first day working at Ixis and it was certainly an eye opener.

We are moving

We are moving offices to the Brew House in Stockton Heath, Warrington.

The new office gives us over double the floor space at just under 2000 square foot allowing for further growth and expansion.

Created out of local sandstone in the 18th century the Brew House is a great character building. The building was once home to vast brewing machinery as part of Greenall's brewery and was extensively refurbished for which it won the ‘RICS award for architecture and conversion’.

We will be on site at our new home from April - don't hesitate to drop in if you are passing, whilst we can't brew our own beer we'll do our best to maintain the integrity of the original building by keeping our fridge fully stocked with local and craft beers ;)
